GCW offers Braintree regeneration advice.

The council had earmarked a site, currently housing an existing car park and GPs surgery, for the scheme. GCW appraised the town centre site for a potential mixed-use scheme that was designed to stimulate the night time economy in Braintree. The work included a market-testing exercise to establish the appetite for the scheme from occupiers

GCW was then able to offer evidence on the suitability of the scheme to satisfy demand and make recommendations to the local authority on how the site could to deliver maximum benefit to the town centre.

GCW is now working with architects on a deliverable mixed-use scheme which must include a new doctor’s surgery.
